EMBRACE THE SCATTER

Who is the mad scatter?

Based out of Indiana, Mad Scatter Music was founded by Trinell, to produce music that challenges the boundaries of jazz concepts, and the idea of music static to genre.  Trinell is an improvisational vocalist, who explores the vocal "scatting" technique, made famous by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald.  She incorporates "Indie", Alternative, Soul, & Classic Rock into a crowd pleasing jazz fusion experience relative to multiple generations of listeners.

Influenced by the greats; Stevie Wonder, Anita Baker, Bonnie Raitt, Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughn, Peggy Lee, and Ella Fitzgerald.

Inspired by the ingenious obscurity of Little Dragon, Hiayatus Kaiyote, Robert Glasper, Erykah Badu, D’Angelo, and Lauryn Hill.

Raised by the Gospel precedents of The Clark Sisters, Karen Clark-Sheard, Yolanda Adams, and Kim Burrell.

Mentored by Alicia Pyle, jazz vocalist, classical pianist and composer.

Uniquely in her own right, she finds a way to merge all of these genres into a wonderland of jazz, ergo "The Scatter has seemingly gone Mad".
